Full description
This woollen sculpture of a brown hare has been made using woollen fibres and a barbed felting needle using a needle felting process. A core of white wool has been sculpted into shape and covered with a top coat of brown wool fibres. The hare has been made over a wire armature to give strength and stability and is posed in a sitting position. Horse hair whiskers have been added. The hare has been mounted on a wooden slice covered in artificial grass.
This hare measures approximately 21cm (8.5") tall.
Please note: this hare is intended as a collectable or ornament. It is not suitable as a toy for children due to small parts and possible loose fibres.
