Full description
A stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A beautiful bright green Tree Frog, with vibrant red eyes and fingers. I've made the eyes as dichroic glass topped nuggets in my kiln so they are extra sparkly.
The frog is peering through a circle of streaky wet green foliage and above that is a blue sky.
I've framed the ring with twisted wire to give it a neat finish and strength and it hangs from a silvery chain attached to the top with securely soldered wire rings.
It is 13.5 cm in diameter.
This looks stunning hanging in the window where it catches the light and would make a lovely ornament for any room.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
The last picture shows the previous version so you can see they are always unique.
