This design looked so romantic when I saw it I just had to create it myself. Such a pretty heart shaped macrame pattern set off well by the wooden beads and tassells.
Please note, I only post within the UK

Full description
A striking macrame wall hanging made from soft cotton cord. Carefully crafted using a series of different knotting techniques, these intricate patterns ultimately come together to create a beautiful design. This wall hanging starts as a length of dowel hanging off a metal rail with varying lengths of cord attached. It hardly requires any other tools other than my hands, and the knowledge of many different knotting techniques. Certain knots use up more cord than others, so I need to be careful to have measured the correct lengths of cord and put them in the right order on the dowel. Once I'm happy the cords are all where they should be I start the knotting process, carefully ensuring the knots are equal and even as I work across the pattern. Finally, at the end of the pattern the design is secured using wrap knots, sometimes wooden beads, tassels or fringes. These are then trimmed to the required length. This process takes time, patience and skill. It's also a very meditative and relaxing activity which results in a beautifully stylish piece of wall art.
This design is 50cm wide (this is the width of the dowel it hangs from) and 74cm drop from the dowel to the bottom.
