My son resisted wearing a coat or second layer for a long time! He also found certain clothes uncomfortable. Naturally I was concerned he was getting cold! So I jumped at the chance to make him something warm, that he would enjoy wearing. Success! He enjoys the feeling of soft fabrics, so when he described his poncho as snuggly, I was over the moon! He'll even wear it inside, hardly knowing he's got it on. The bonus of being able to slip it on and off means no fuss, gentle layering.
I designed and made a hooded poncho for my daughter, who was 2, because I knew it would be so cute! I wanted it to be as cute and cuddly as possible, like her. The organic fleece lining frames the face and comes right up to her chin,
so cosy! And she loves wearing it. She can even fit her little back pack with treasures in it, over the top, or underneath.

"Snuggly" is the feeling my son describes wearing this light weight, yet cosy poncho. Weatherproof cuddly wool on the outside, super soft organic cotton fleece lining inside. Happiness! These ponchos are fully lined for a super smooth finish. No labels, no internal seams, no zips, no fastenings, No Fuss, Gentle Layering. Slip on or off, wear inside or out, for a fun, easy way to stay warm.
Super soft organic cotton fleece lining makes these ponchos so snuggly. A cosy hood and warm wool outer, keeps them dry and toasty warm. So cute! Slip it on or off for a no fuss, "I can do it", toddler coat experience. No labels, no harsh seams, a fully lined smooth finish. With a sturdy hemp webbing loop at the back for "I can hang it up myself"!

A Hemp webbing strap is added at the back for hanging on a hook.
Wool is naturally water and mud resistant. It does best airing out or sponge spot wash if needed. Wash if necessary, on a very gentle cold wash, short spin, do not ring. Dry and store flat for best results.
For a super water repellent effect, spray or gently wash with a wool nappy lanolising solution. Message for more details.
