I started to paint deer skulls and antlers found on the hill then when beach-combing I decided to also paint shells. The delicate insides seemed a challenge to decorate and to add individual designs.
The shape and form of the shells often dictates the brush strokes.
NO decoupage, NO pre sourced image, just me and my brush!
My ethos has always been to make the unloved loved and these discarded shells can now be appreciated for their beauty in another form.

Please note that I will keep receipt of postage but once sent, the package is not my responsibility though it will be marked as fragile and well wrapped. There are many designs, none will be copied. You are purchasing the shell on the listing. Other designs are listed individually. Thank you.

Full description
This one of a kind hand painted shell was collected whilst beach-combing on the shore near my home. Painted with acrylics with an underwater vibe inside and gilded outer shell.
Each clam shell is presented boxed. Should you wish for me to send the shell as a gift, just add a note for the gift tag and recipient’s details and I will happily do that for you.
