Full description

This is a raw natural amethyst crystal pendulum with a shungite stone, suspended on a copper plate chain, and a rutilated quartz bead for holding, and a copper hand with the words "made by hand".

Pendulums can be used for dowsing - trying to find something, just tune your pendulum and ask it to show you a "yes" and a "no" and ask it questions. The first step is to establish which way the pendulum will swing for 'Yes' and which way for 'No'.Hold the chain of the crystal and steady the pendulum. Ask simple questions, with a simple yes or no answer, that you know the answer to. The pendulum should swing; note which way it moves for yes and which way for no. A circular or diagonal swing is often taken to mean 'don't know'. Now ask the pendulum questions that you would like to know the answer to.

Folklore: Rutilated Quartz combines delicate needles of pure Rutile in a protective bubble of Clear Quartz. The Rutile grows first in an empty cavity that is later filled with liquid silica that hardens into Quartz. Rutile is an Oxide mineral, similar to Hematite. While pure Hematite is often tumbled and sold in healing crystal shops, pure Rutile is more likely to be sent to a factory to be crushed and smelted for Titanium. Fortunately, the striking combination of Rutilated Quartz is so beautiful and takes a polish so smoothly that it is often set aside for collectors. It is a wonderful stone for the mind, helping us to see clearly and be filled with hope.
