This Free-Standing Stained Glass effect Leaded Art Deco Suncatcher/ Window Decoration is 25cm round fitted into a hand-crafted wooden base. The feminine flow of the elegant, curvaceous leaves through what looks like flames of passion is tender and relaxing. Certainly a ball of happy, warm colours in your home.
The light flows through the colours, spreading light, colour and design. This original one-off piece makes a fabulous, unique gift or statement of decoration for your window.
Inspired by the Lucite lamps of the early 1900s, it comes on a pine plinth treated with a hand-waxed polish.
This is a unique one-off piece, yip only 1
I use cold-cast Acrylic rather than glass to make these for a few reasons. It is more optically clear than glass. It is UV-protected, so the colours will not fade If it accidentally falls, it will not smash, but more importantly, if knocked against your window, it should not damage your window!
