It was the spikey snips of string that remain after I've finished making my other string things that made me think of tinsel. A few days and a lot of word play later, Strinsel was born!

Full description
Doff your cap to the King's Coronation with this Union Flag inspired Strinsel. This all jute no plastic garland version is more subtle than a flag, but shows that you're still up for a street party.
The Strinsel comes in 2 metre lengths and is sewn together, by me, at my old oak dining table. It should therefore not be cut to size, otherwise it will all unravel.
I use Everlasto Jute Twine, made in Bolton, UK at the James Lever Factory where they've been manufacturing twine, cord and rope for over 150 years.
No glue or plastic is used in my work, and all the packaging I use can be widely recycled.
