I originally wanted to paint a larger landscape including this bridge in Bourton-on-the-Water but then decided to just focus on the bridge reflections and the figures which all turned out rather abstract.

Watercolour painting of people on the bridge in the village of Bourton on the Water in the scenic Cotswolds in England. The low bridges above the River Windrush are what this village is well-known for. It was a hot summer day and so much was going on with tourists all over the place, so I decided to just focus on a section of the bridge to capture the atmosphere of the place.
