Handwoven in 11 shades of very fine cotton warped in a Fibonacci gradient. Gently shifting from teal through turquoise to the palest blue. The scarf plays with depth and light when wound around the neck creating dramatic shifts in tone. Woven in a fine natural cotton weft in a tiny and intricate advancing twill, the scarf rewards the eye with an areas of ever moving diamonds. Inspired by tiny bubbles of sea foam when swimming in the sea at Robin Hood’s Bay. It is the perfect weight of scarf, and is great for people sensitive to wool and looking for a year round scarf. Cotton are non itchy and naturally regulates temperature. Light, with a good drape.
Measures approximately 26cm x 190cm
Woven entirely by hand on a custom-built 8 shaft Swedish floor loom from surplus high-quality yarn otherwise destined for landfill.
