Some of my first glass sales were on Malvern station at the tearoom there as it is run by my daughter's MIL.

Full description

A stained glass suncatcher entirely handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

This is a steam train, an engine with bubbles of glass nuggets for steam and more shiny black nuggets for wheels. There is a funnel in black striped glass and a golden bell.

The body of the train is rich red made from two different types of glass, one iridised. It is approximately 10cm square.

It makes a lovely fun suncatcher and it looks absolutely super hanging in the window where it catches the light and would make a lovely ornament for a room, especially a child's.

Please note this is an ornament not a toy as it is made of glass.

The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the train.

This is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.

The last photo also shows a blue train which is for sale as a separate listing.

I can make this in other colours if you prefer, please contact me if you do.
