Gracie has been fascinated by the Quiet Princess’s story for a long time. As her title suggests The Quiet Princess spoke very few words and when she did speak her quiet utterances were barely audible. It is legendary that the Princess had pieces of jewellery made to represent her feelings and quiet words. She kept her pieces in a special casket and Gracie has been creating a Quiet Princess casket of her own.
The Princess always loved butterflies and would always wear one when in a very happy mood.
The necklace features a stitched butterfly of dark silver metallic leather and a butterfly made of metallic leather, good quality beige wool mix felt, tea-dyed vintage lace, a lace flower motif and a cream glass pearl.
They hang from a long (27”) silver plated belcher chain and are finished off with a vintage diamanté button and small lace bow. The butterfly hangs down a further 3”
Comes gift wrapped (as shown in picture) and would make a wonderful gift.
Each 'gracie make' is lovingly sewn by hand and often feature vintage materials so no two pieces are ever exactly same.
