If you are after the wow factor and an instant boost to your well-being, then this unique window sill sun catcher is for you. Just add the sunshine and the multiple colours (6 different colours!) will flood through creating a beautiful effect as seen on the photographs. Perfect as a house warming gift or just to treat yourself with.
The wood surround has been made with naturally felled elm which has been oiled to bring out the lovely grain. The stained glass will never fade and is created using the copper foil method. Each piece of glass is hand cut and grinded to shape. A copper foil is wrapped around each piece and they are then soldered together leaving a rounded silver coloured bead.. it is then washed thoroughly before a wax is applied and it is buffed up to a shine. Finally the glass is fixed into the wood using a clear silicone sealant.
The whole piece measures 25.5cm height by 12.5cm at its widest part. It measure 4cm in depth.
