Full description
Just look at the beauty in this piece. The stained glass really compliments the naturally felled elm wood. Place it on a sunny window sill and see the instant colour fill the space. It would be great as a house warming gift or a feel good treat for yourself.
The glass is cut using the copper foil method. Each piece of glass is hand cut, grinded to fit then wrapped in copper foil. The pieces are then soldered together and cleaned throughly before waxing and polishing. The wood surround has been cut and sanded, then oiled to expose the natural grain. The stained glass is then fixed in place with clear silicone sealant.
The piece measures 18cm height by 10cm at its widest part.
