Fabulous Monkey and Parasol linen fabric handbag, hand made in the Scottish Borders.
I just love this playful monkey fabric, monkeys wearing jackets and curly toe shoes, having a picnic or climbing trees!
I have chosen beautiful coordinating fabrics from my vintage and Liberty collection, combining them with velvet and gorgeous ribbons and braids. There's a tassel attached to the handle.
There's some splendid jacquard braid depicting a traditional scene and on the other side is a wide peacock feather trim.
Further embellished with surface embroidery and an Indian traditional beaded charm and ribbon tags.
Fully lined with a generous inner pocket and magnetic snap closure.
Please note that all my bags are unique, l never make the same bag twice. However, I can make a unique bag using a similar mix of colours and fabrics. Please contact me for more details.
