HISTORY
The Morris Minor was manufactured from 1948 to 1971 and is a symbol its era normally driven in films by vicars and members of the village WI. There were various variants, 2 or 4 door saloons, convertibles, open bodied Mokes, vans, pick-ups and the eponymous wood framed estate known as the famous Traveller. It was originally fitted with a 848cc engine but graduated to first a 918cc then 948cc and then finally 1098cc; in the end over 1.7million were produced, a tribute to Alec Issigonis's design
