Thick journal or sketchbook with Japanese motif.
Unique substantial hand stitched and bound book .
Pages
This book contains 80 pages , 160 sides) of white 140gsm, acid free cartridge.
I completely hand sew all my books starting with just paper , card and glue.
This is suitable for al dry media and light watercolour. The pages are bound in signatures of 4 sheets of paper, making 8 pages in each section with cotton and polyester waxed thread. The pages are supported with cotton tapes and bookbinders mull before being enclosed in strong card cover. The pages are neatly trimmed by hand to give a smart finish to the book.
Covers
The Japanese influenced, cover is a beautiful, richly patterned, printed cotton fabric of red fans with details in pink and blue, outlined in gold.
Headbands.
The hand stitched headbands are in black and pink matching the cover and endpapers.
Endpapers of blue.
Size 15.5 x 21.5x 3 cm.
With simple presentation box as shown.
