The delicate cherry blossom comes at the beginning of spring symbolising renewal and beauty.
This tree grows in my garden and I preserve the flowers using the traditional method of flower pressing.
It is mounted on white handmade paper, annotated with the name of the plant and its meaning. The glazing is acrylic, to help preserve the colour in the flower, and it is framed in a solid oak, UK made, frame.
I always recommend hanging pressed flowers away from direct sunlight to prevent them fading, though their colours will change slowly, over time.
