This was made when I was at home recovering from my 2nd surgery due to breast cancer. I was reminded of the love and compassion we have for each other. The lady in the bed opposite me on the ward was from Poland, she found it difficult to understand the surgeon, she was going to have a mastectomy, she looked so sad and very scared. I was compelled to go over and give her a big hug and some reassurance and I did :-) She hugged me so tight and cried her eyes out, but we connected and have made friends and we are on our treatment journey together.
This wall hanging was made with this connection in mind.
