My Summer Season Collection is full of summer botanicals, most grown in the beautiful Hampshire sunshine and pressed by me, before sunbathing with cyanotype to produce blue-and-white photograms. Perfect as gifts for plant lovers, house movers, family and friends.

I find making art uplifting and joyful, creating these Enso brought a different dimension to the studio, calming and relaxing, only using one brush stroke and one breath to create the circle. Enso can be drawn closed or left open, depending on what the artist wants to say or impart.

Full description
Art Gift-Enso is a sacred symbol in Zen Buddhism meaning circle, or sometimes, circle of togetherness. Traditionally, the circle is drawn with only one brushstroke and when exhaling one steady breath, it is one of the most common subjects in Japanese calligraphy. The Prussian blue circles contrast well against the white paper, I then added the inner circle with Bamboo stems to give the botanical interest. This piece would suit a wall in your Yoga space or bring calmness to a home office or garden room.
This Photogram is created on 300gsm acid-free watercolour paper.
Named ‘And Breath’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1
The Artwork is NOT MOUNTED OR FRAMED (Frames and props used in the photographs are for illustration only)
The Artwork paper size is 12"x 16" for you to place into a Frame of your choice. The Circle is 25cm approximately in diameter.
The Artwork will fit into a frame size:
16" x 20" with a mount.
The photogram will be posted out protected by a Glassine sheet and rolled into a postal tube, which is reusable and recyclable. On arrival, the photogram protected by the glassine sheet should be pressed under weights such books as to flatten for 24-48 hours.
