Mimosas are the flowers that represent International Womens Day. They were chosen by feminists in Italy as a symbol of strength for Women's Day. Chosen in 1946 to mark the first International Women's Day after the end of World War II. Now a truly International movement that goes from strength to strength just like women themselves.

Full description
Original art -Sweetly scented bright yellow blossom in spring provides fragrance and is a valuable nectar source for early flying bees. Mimosa is also an evergreen, so attractive all year round with its grey-green filigree foliage which gives lovely detail in the finished Photogram. The Mimosa tree is gorgeous, a haze of yellow on a dull grey day, like a pop of sunshine.
This piece would look lovely in a pretty bedroom or on a sitting room shelf.

Created on 300gsm acid free watercolour paper, hinge-mounted to a backboard and White mount both acid free and in a fully recyclable protective bag.
Named 'Millie', numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1
Mounted Size 8” x 10” (20.32 x 25.4cm) ready for you to place into a standard 8” x 10” frame of your choice.
Aperture size is 5” x 7”
The photogram will be posted out in a board-backed envelope which is reusable and recyclable.
