Some of my work is 'free flow' where I allow the glass to go where it will in the kiln. Other times I like to focus on geometric shapes, and this 'squares' clock is a great example. I love the crisp lines, the contrast of the gold hands against the darker iridised clock, and the colour hues of the 'Blue Rainbow' glass it's made from.

Full description
This Blue Rainbow Squares Clock has an Indigo blue glass base and edging to the front, which surrounds nine rainbow iridized glass squares. Iridized glass is “normal” glass that has a thin, metallic coating on the surface which adds a shine and a sparkle. The variation in the colours on the clock is simply where on the sheet of glass the squares are cut and the orientation in which they are laid down on the base glass.
This beautiful clock has gold coloured hour, minute and second hands and is presented in an oak stand measuring 15cm X 7cm X 2cm (included) and requires 1x AA battery (supplied).
It measures 21cm wide X 21.5cm high (24cm when mounted in the oak stand).
