A brilliant result of distressed technique and of a old distressed look, obtained with an artisan color technique: this piece came in a very ugly brown at the beginning and it didn't have any brightness at all.
Now is alive again!
It is a slim sideboard, not too much depth or long: perfect size for a flat. I immediately thought to make it white and distressed!
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
This piece has been fully refinished with handcraft techniques, inside and outside by a furniture refinisher and using mainly eco friendly products.
-material: mainly mahogany wood;
-size: 1.12 cm (lenght) x 40 cm (width);
-outside colour: old white colour with very light brown nuances that highlight the antiquing of the piece and the distressed signs;
-inside colour: original mahogany colour;
-6 drawers of different size;
-2 front doors with an adjustable height shelf inside each;
-beautiful knobs and locks;
-wax finishing: the wax feeds, seals, protects and enhances the shine of the wooden surface, giving at the piece of furniture a long lasting, durable and natural looking shine;
-paint: old white ecofrinedly chalk paint.
The furniture shape indicates that this piece is from the early 1900s.
The chest of drawers has the central part, where the drawers are located, slightly further out than the rest of the structure (please see the pictures) and reaches a maximum depth of 40 cm. There is a beautiful and unusual curvilinear shape of the lower part of the cabinet (foot-end).
Chalk paint has been used on this piece: the chalk paint enhances the grain of the wood, giving the surface a material layer. The structure of the wood is solid and there are no damages (just a small stain inside a drawwr). The inside has been cleaned and treated with oil as the back too.
