Full description
This unique handbag has been repurposed from a child’s skirt, which has been fully laundered before making the bag.
The outer bag is a medium brown cord with a silver metal lobster clasp fastening. I have left the original button decoration from the skirt on the back of the bag and also one of the original pockets, which is still usable, on the front of the bag.
Inside is lined with a red and white star print cotton and has two handy slip pockets on one side. I have also used a fleece interfacing which gives the bag a lovely soft feel whilst also giving it more stability.
35cm wide at the bottom, 30cm wide at the top, height from bottom of handle to bottom of bag is 30cm and the handle is just over 1 metre long.
