I started my artistic and creative journey taking photographs of flowers and wider landscapes. I have always loved the Impressionist movement in art, and watercolour as a medium. I enjoy turning my photographs into more abstract, painterly images and now printing them onto fabric.

Full description
This unique fabric was designed by me. It started out as a photograph of a field or meadow of wildflowers taken in the summer. I then played around with the photograph to give it an impressionistic, watercolour feel and had it printed to size.
I then made it into this lovely handmade lampshade suitable for a table lamp. It is totally unique - you won't find the fabric anywhere else and at the moment I have only made this one. It would make a fabulous wedding present, or a housewarming gift, or something very special for a gardening enthusiast or nature lover. Or maybe, just treat yourself!
The diameter of the shade is 20cm.
The height of the shade is 18cm.
The lampshade frame fits the standard bayonet cap (BC) lamp holder. This is the most common type of lamp fitting in the UK today. It can also be used with Edison Screw (E27) lamp holders, most common in Europe, merely remove the converter plug in the centre of the fitting.
We recommend the use of low energy bulbs with our lampshades. They use less energy and are cool to the touch, avoiding the problem of scorching the shades. The inside of the lampshade is fire-retardant, anti-yellowing white PVC.
Please note: the lamp base is for illustrative purposes only and not included. Also be aware that due to differences in screens and monitors, the colours you are seeing may differ slightly from those of the shade in real life - unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about that.
