Full description
I was expecting to receive turquoise glass but when this iridised green arrived instead I decided I’d make some lucky four leaf clovers.
Old wives tales say four leaf clovers are lucky as are horse shoes given on a wedding day I decided to combine the two.
This would make a great wedding gift and is totally unique.
Each piece of glass has been cut by hand, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together before being washed again.
I have made the horseshoe from twisted tinned wire, adding hexagonal chandelier drops and clear florentine glass. I have applied a patina to blacken the solder. There are two small rings and length of fishing line for hanging purposes.
The suncatcher measure 16cms wide by 20cms high.
I will supply one window hook so you can hang in the window as soon as received but please remember to wet the plunger before you push it firmly onto the window.
This will be sent by first class signed for mail, normally the following working day.
