This is a handmade, handcrafted, travel, electro acoustic octave mandolin. The scale length is 58cm,8 strings tuned G D A E/D. I have added the /d tuning to the top e string as some people like to tune down to get that irish bouzouki feel..
The body is all made from reclaimed hardwood, the top from reclaimed pine, over a 100 years old.The finger board is made from walnut. All the hardware is brand new and the pick up system is a triple Piezo feeding a 1/4 inch endpin jack plug socket.
The finish is natural oil and wax (soya)
