"Commissioned by an alumni of Cambridge University, the griffin is a heraldic symbol of Downing College. It was also the first mythical creature that Ive sculpted! I had fun with the pose and the outstretched wings. But I never know what to say when Im occasionally asked whether it is life-sized!"

How its made: Bronze metal powder is mixed with a resin to make the Bronze Resin material, which has the appearance of Foundry Bronze metal. This process creates a material that is more affordable and lightweight.
