“The life-sized Lying Labradoodle sculpture was a commission of Spence. Spence is a very gentle old boy, and he is the second labradoodle I have sculpted. Spence had undergone an operation for cancer to provide him with more time with his loving family, and when his sculpture was finished he was still going strong! While a sitting pose was a favourite, his poise and scruffy handsomeness when lying with two feet on one side made this the final choice the clients and I decided on."

How its made: Bronze metal powder is mixed with a resin to make the Bronze Resin material, which has the appearance of Foundry Bronze metal. This process creates a material that is more affordable and lightweight.
