Full description
Handmade stained glass cacti are an absolute delight to own. The speciality glass always looks great and no need to water! This would look great on any window sil.
The glass used is semi opaque with different unique patterns in dark and light green. When the light shine on it it provides you with the extra joy of a little sparkle.
Made with the copper foil method, each piece of glass is hand cut, grinded and wrapped in copper foil. During the soldering process, extra bobbles of solder are added to create the spines of the cactus. The glass is cleaned and a wax is added and it is then polished.
The cactus has brass rods which provide the stability when fixed in the pot. White quartz gravel is glued on the surface which adds a lovely contrast to the green glass. Loose quartz pebbles then top up the pots.
The height is 25cm and 14 cm at it widest.
Please was hands after handling.
