This little fellow has a larger sibling in the collection. I was drawn to using Acer leaves for these pieces as they lend themselves so well to Cyanotype and their sharp cut edges contrast with the soft round curve of the circle, it's like they are being embraced by it.

Full description
This Original Cyanotype Photogram is called Ao which is Japanese for Blue. A pretty circle of Acer leaves in a two-tone blue effect. Made in the traditional Cyanotype method but some of the leaves were removed just before it finished exposing, to give a variation in the blues. This piece would bring a pretty and calming feel to any room.

Created on 300gsm acid-free watercolour paper, hinge-mounted to a backboard and White mount both acid-free and placed in a fully recyclable protective bag.
Named ‘Ao’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1
Mounted Size is 10” x 12” (25.4 x 30.48 cm) ready for you to place into a 10” x 12” frame of your choice.
Aperture size is 7” x 9” (17.78 x 22.86 cm)
It can be displayed/hung in either landscape or portrait and any way around, how versatile is that!

The photogram will be posted out in an all-board envelope which is reusable and recyclable. I purchase packaging made from recycled products whenever I can.
