I bought the carved frieze from a company called Wild Goose Carvings some time ago with a picture in mind of what I was going to use it with, but never actually got around to it until I decided to mount it in a shelf unit. It could also be a dresser top sat on top of a nice base unit.

Full description
This wall mounted display unit was handmade by me using reclaimed timber.
The carved frieze I bought from Wild Goose Carvings which I incorporated into the design of the unit. The finish is with white chalk paint and a clear wax.
The appearance is slightly distressed.
