With this dragon, I wanted to create something that looked like it might live in a volcano or lava lake, which is why I went for the black base colour, with the red and orange pigment. I also added a hint of dark blue dye pigment, which appears and disappears in certain lights, to give it some tonal difference.

Full description
This gothic lava dragon has been made with epoxy resin, and coloured with black mica powder, along with red and orange dye pigments. There is also a slight hint of blue mixed in as well.
