I designed this originally to reflect the vibrant colours of the Far East after visits to Thailand, Vietnam and India.

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
I designed this as a bright and colourful picture of ribbons blowing in the wind.
I've used lots of different textures and types of glass to give movement to the twisting ribbons which are in a full range of vivid colours.
.
The ribbons swirl out from a red dichroic topped glass nugget fused in my kiln, in a square shape bordered with a prettily textured clear glass.
I've framed the square in twisted wire for strength and neatness.
This is 16.5 cm x 16 cm and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher.
I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure it is unique.
Please note while photographing I spotted a mark on the bottom border towards the left. This is just a blemish in the glass and is not a fault, just a feature of the glass.
