My next event then will be the Artists and Makers Fair in Caversham, Readinng on the 14th Dec, the link is below.
I love working with textiles, making small and large items. I have recently added some new lines, practical aprons and floral brooches.
If you live in the Reading area you can come and see me at the Artists and Makers Fairs in Caversham

You can follow me on FB and Instagram as well @pamccrafts.
All the items are hand sewn by me. I am increasingly thinking about sustainability with my work and am including more repurposed projects, and trying to use organic and natural fibres and fabrics.
I donate 10% of my sales to Launchpad, a charity working to prevent homelessness in Reading
IF YOU ARE ABLE TO COLLECT FROM ME IN RG4 I WILL REFUND POSTAGE
I just love these fabrics and the traditions handed down through generations to create them. I have tried out a few sizes and designs and so far this is the best. I am happy to take commissions for larger bags.

This lovely block print fabric is ethically traded from the Jaipur region of India using traditional methods. These cotton fabrics make beautiful light weight bags.
The design uses 4 identically sized panels joined at a lower central point. At its widest this bag is 45cm; it folds to 22.5cm wide and is 22cm tall. The bag is fully lined with a coordinating block print fabric.
For the straps I have stitched traditional Khadi woven ribbon on to a cotton herringbone tape. The straps are approx 80cm long.
The outer fabric is lined with a cotton interfacing which gives the bag strength but it is not stiff.
The closure is a small loop and coconut shell button.
This makes a useful lightweight bag but will not be strong enough for heavy items .....definitely not a laptop!
I will send the bag out folded 1st class
