Full description
This seascape / sunrise would make a great gift for anyone who love the sea.
I have made the sun using two types of Yellow Sea glass, the sky is from a lovely streaky blue glass which is great for a wispy sky and the sea has been made using lots of different types of turquoise glass. I have added the boat on top of the panel.
Each piece of glass has been cut by hand, ground, washed and foiled then soldered together and washed again. I have attached a twisted wire surround which gives added strength to the piece and to form the hanging rings. A patina has been applied to the solder to blacken it.
This will look great in any window and does not have to be in direct sun.
The panel measures 28.5cms x 19cms excluding the hanging rings.
I will supply a window hook so you can hang it as soon as received but please remember to wet the plunger before pushing firmly on to the window.
I normally send the following working day. This will be sent using 1st class signed for mail.
