Ladybird books and listening to stories was a huge part of my childhood and 'Jack and the Beanstalk' must be also remembered and loved by so many of you. By turning this much loved, old book into bunting I have given a new life to some wonderful illustrations.

Full description
This is a long length of bunting that has been made from an entire vintage Ladybird book - 'Jack and the Beanstalk'.
There are 25 triangular flags measuring 10cm x 17cm hung 3cm apart, giving a total length of nearly 4 meters (includes 30cm each end for tying). The images hang to the face of the bunting and the story to the back.
The flags are edged in bottle green machine stitching and I have also used a matching green binding to enhance the wonderful colours in the illustrations.
Although the stitching gives extra strength to the paper, this bunting is obviously intended for inside display and is not designed for wet weather!
A perfect gift for a vintage inspired nursery or playroom, for a lover of traditional tales, books and illustration.
