I love designing knitting patterns for all abilities and this pattern is fantastic for a beginner knitter.

Full description
An easy pattern using a combination of knitting stitches to create the perfect baby blanket.
This generously sized blanket is knit all in one piece without picking up stitches for the border.
You will need approx. 200 grams of DK baby yarn (620 metres approx)
One pair of 5 mm UK size , (size 8 USA size) knitting needles. I would recommend using 80cm circular needles for this project to hold all the stitches.
Approximate finished size of blanket 34 x 27 inches.
