Introducing my Joysofglass Fused Glass collection. All handcut by me and then fused in my kiln.
This picture is for a wall hanging or free standing.
I've made a fused glass bright red, white and blue union jack British flag in my kiln and then added it to the front of a box frame.
The flag is 14cm x 9cm and the frame is 20cm x 15cm.
I've followed as closely as possible given I was using inflexible glass, the authenitic design for the Union Flag. There is a base layer of clear glass, then a layer of white and blue. The red opaque glass (so the white doesn't show through) is then placed on top of the white bands so it forms thin white strips on either side.
Then into my kiln where it is fired to red hot temperatures so it forms a super shiny rounded edged plaque.
It will be sent smothered with loving care in bubble wrap and posted first class signed for.
