This is an unusual, stunning and eye catching Amethyst with Copper inclusions, known as a mohave gemstone. A large oval cabochon cut stone, size 16 x 12 mm, set into a rose gold plated sterling silver ring. An awesome ring that you really need to see up close and personal to discover the multitude of colours within the stone.
Mohave/ mojave stones are quite extraordinary, crafted through a hydraulic press process that combines pieces of genuine Amethyst and (in this case) a copper metal matrix to form this composite gem, so no two pieces will ever be the same. So a truly individual ring, perfect as a February birthstone gift, or Valentines gift
