A stunning but dainty natural Zambian Emerald fancy cut oval in a Gold 925 silver ring. The ring mount has been kept to a minimalist design to leave the gemstone as centre of attraction. This Emerald is untreated, other than the fact it has been oiled to maximise the crystals brilliance (oiling means it has been soaked in Johnsons Baby Oil, this brand is used as it has an identical refractive index to Emerald) If you find you need to shine up your emerald at any time you can re oil by gently warming some baby oil and leave the gemstone to soak over night.
Emeralds are one of the most famous and most precious gemstones on Earth, with a striking green hue that will catch anyones eye.
Emerald is known as the stone of successful love and represents great loyalty and integrity and therefore a popular choice for engagement rings. It is also the birthstone for May and the 55th wedding anniversary gemstone.
