Full description
Handpainted bone china planter. Painted all round ( 15 in circumference) 5 in wire and 5 in high. Peaches,apples,grapes, blackberries and strawberries. A “ one off “ original piece. First sketched then painted and fired five separate times in my Worcestershire studio., to capture the depth of colour and detail. Two gilding fires as well .
At the Royal Worcester factory only two fires were ever allowed, to keep costs down . I was mentored there by the legendary fruit painter Jack Freeman. This stunning bone china planter is presented in a blue silk lined display box. Certificate of authenticity and artist’s biography.
