Although Mr Men books are really from my sister's childhood, I remember the stories well. They are written and illustrated by Roger Hargreaves and were first produced in the 1970's although very popular through the 1980's. The pictures are iconic and the stories simple and funny.

Full description
This is a length of bunting made from an entire vintage Mr Men book - 'Mr Quiet', There are18 whole page flags measuring 12cm x 13cm hung 2cm apart, giving a total length of 340cm (includes 30cm each end for tying). The images hang to the front and the story to the back.
The pages are edged with bright blue stitching which gives added strength and definition to the paper, and I have used a matching bright blue binding. This coordinates well with the illustrations that are in solid and bright colours with black outlines.
A great gift for a vintage inspired nursery or playroom, for a lover of traditional tales, books and illustration.
The last photo also includes 'Mr Noisy' bunting (bottom).
