NEW: Hand stitched Sami Reindeer and Fish leather bags and pouches.
About SISU Handspun – I have borrowed the word ‘Sisu’ from my Finnish ancestors. The Finns are known to have a spirit of extraordinary determination in the face of extreme adversity, and courage that is presented typically in situations where success is unlikely.(Wikipedia)
The Sisu hand spun yarns are produced in the traditional way, spun from locally sourced wools as much as possible in order to reduce my carbon footprint.

I hand spin yarn in small quantities. Once it's gone, it's gone - not to be repeated.
Knitting bowls, needles and other props are not included in the listing.
Buyers are responsible for any taxes or additional costs that may be due.
Sampling - I like to knit a small sample of every hand spun yarn that I create - in order to assure product quality. The question I ask myself when I knit a sample is 'Is this yarn nice to knit with?' Hand spinning varies with each skein that is spun. There are many factors that affect the completed product such as: the fibre preparation, the colour blending of the fibres, the thickness of the yarn, the amount of twist in the skein, the tension of the spinning, the washing and blocking of the completed skein.
