This striking, beautiful scarf is soft and lightweight and will add interest and colour to any outfit.
The central white band consists of unbleached white merino wool fibres that are felted in a very fine layer onto both sides of a silk chiffon fabric in a process known as Nuno felting. The woollen fibres migrate through the silk and bind with it to create a strong but lightweight fabric. The multicoloured border added around the edge consists of a blend of merino wool fibres that are laid out and manipulated during felting in such a way that the border forms in a wavy, ruffled effect.
The scarf measures approximately 154cm x 30cm, long enough to drape around the shoulders or tie at the neck for extra warmth if required.
Please note: The scarf should be washed by hand in warm water and allowed to dry naturally. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
