There is a neighbours cat who frequently visits our garden that is until our teddy spots him. And I was just inspired on that day to make this cat.

I’ve just finished creating this blue cat which has been made in my garden studio. I made this by fusing Glass on a tack fuse originally, followed by a second firing in the kiln to add all of the detail and decoration. It is really different and would please any animal lover, not forgetting cat lovers, this would make a truly lovely gift as all my pieces are one offs. Cat comes complete with a hardwood stand with specialised glass fittings. To ensure the cat is safe in the stand all that is required is for you to tighten the screws at the back of the fittings and “voila” it’s ready to be shown off in all its glory. The Glass used in this is a mix of bull’s-eye Opal blue glass with iridescent blue glass legs and tail which are decorated with stringers. The front of the cat has different coloured glass frit which was also used on the cheeks. Slices of Cane glass was used for the eyes.
The cat measures 5.5” wide & 12.5” tall when mounted - the stand measures 6” long x 2.5”deep.
I only use top class materials and all of my items are carefully wrapped to protect them as much as possible whilst in transit. Free P&P.
