My daughter often asked me to make patchwork quilt for her. I had a lot of fabric left overs from my other projects. This quilt is made of 100% linen and 100%cotton scrap pieces. An Witney cellular blanket for batting filling. It was had stitched/ quilted and I enjoyed making it. She loved it so much, I made another one but bigger. This one is for sale.
Backing is 100% blue percale cotton, between wool and backing I added one layer of 100% linen sheet to stop wool prickling.

Hand made patchwork quilt.
Measuring approximately 228cm by 177cm.
To cover the edges I used blue percale cotton on three side and one side is Jean fabric, all hand stitched. Batting is 100% all wool cellular Witney blanket, good weight of the blanket, it will hold the shape and will not shrink after washing in machine. Between backing percale cotton fabric and wool a layer 100% linen sheet to prevent wool layer from prickling.
All Hand quilted at the end!
