Full description
Randal hand turned this cord pull from a small section of home-harvested English yew. The golden tone is the wood found just below the bark. Tiny “eyes” of deepest brown are the beginnings of delicate branches. Call this lovely smooth piece of yew a cord pull, light pull, blind pull, or a collectible example of native woods, it remains a very tactile object. The approximate size of this pull is 6.5 cm tall and 3.5cm diameter. We have recessed the hole in the base, so the knot will not be visible.
