My son had a favourite book when he was little , the main character loved to play Pachisi. When we went to India came across the game. The Inkatha fabric, from my hoard, looked perfect to create the board. The bamboo men seemed appropriate and we have bamboo in the garden.

Full description

This is a handmade Pachisi game with bag. I used a Ikat woven cotton I had bought on my Asian travels. The weave has appropriately sized columns and spaces for Pachisi. It measures 60cms squares and comes with 6 cowry shells and bamboo and cotton pieces.

The game folds up into a hand worked cotton bag 16cms square. There is a small bag to keep the pieces and shells safe.

The game comes with instructions.
