We all have lights in our rooms, and indeed all rooms have lights. All too often they are simply an afterthought, a necessity rather than a focal point. It needn’t be this way
Whether you have a preference for a ceiling pendant light or a table lamp, a stylish lampshade can pull a room together. If you go for go-with-anything neutrals on the walls a patterned lampshade can provide an easily changeable focal point.
Sometimes its difficult to decide if we really want to commit to a particular lampshade for a central ceiling light, or if it would be better as a table lamp in a cosy corner. Traditionally that means deciding at the time of purchase as the two are not interchangeable - until now.

This lampshade has a swing mechanism in the centre where it attaches to a light fitting, which means it is able to be used with either a ceiling fitting or a table lamp fitting. Simply swing the arm up for a table lamp or keep it down for a ceiling pendant. And no worrying that changing between the two would turn it upside down!
With a delightful design of handbags, roses and the Eiffel Tower, this lampshade evokes images of Paris and shabby-chic artists’ studios. The base colour is a warm beige, with accents of pinky buff-brown and warm chocolate, alongside pops of colour from the pink handbags and sprays of pink and yellow flowers. It is absolutely charming and ideal for a bedroom, boudoir, dressing room or cosy corner in your sitting room.
The lampshade is slightly tapered from the base to the top. The diameter at the top is 23.3cm and the diameter at the base is 28.8cm. The lampshade is approximately 22.5cm tall.
All lampshades sold by My Organised Home are made using a PVC backing which has been tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association. We recommend you use a low energy light bulb.
Due to the size of the lampshades they are despatched via either Yodel or Evri (Hermes). They are sent in sturdy cardboard boxes and cushioned with packing paper.
